~The Beginning pt.2~

The young Zephon is waking up later that day on his bed. His stomach grumbles and he rubs it before going into the main part of his home. He sees the wolf, Tsuka, lying off to the side.

Zephon: "Tsuka-san, where is father?"

Tsuka: "Hmm? Oh, it’s you Zephon-sama. Your father stepped out with an Anbu a few minutes ago. He has already finished preparing dinner and has told me to inform you, that you may start eating without him if you awakened."

"Oh...ok."

*Zephon gets a bowl of the meal his father had prepared, flavored Lo Mein Noodles, served with Barbequed Pork. He sits down at the table and begins to eat. After a few bites he looks up at Tsuka.*

"Tsuka-san...earlier, during the training session, when you came down from the tree at me. I know you missed me, but I was stunned by an electric attack. How did you do that?"

"Do you mean to tell me Zephon-sama, that you do not know about us wolves that protect and partner with the Marukai Clan?"

"Well...I..uh...I know that each of us get a wolf when we get older."

"Hmm...Well, that is what it may seem to be Zephon-sama, but the truth is...only those of your clan who are able to perform the clan's Kuchiyose no Jutsu will be partnered with a guardian wolf. Each of us is unique to a member of your clan."

"But wouldnt that mean that not all of us are protected?"

"Not true. For those of your clan who are unable to perform the Kuchiyose for there own partner, will only summon one of the lower guardian wolves. Those are the ones who protect the whole village. But if you summon your own wolf, they shall share a bond with you....like your father and I share."

"What's so special about the bond?"

"It is a unique bond. For each Marukai and Guardian wolf, it is different. The only thing that is the same is the fact that we might be able to share abilities between one another. That is how I was able to use the lightning jutsu against you earlier. That was one of your father's jutsus. Maybe one day you will receive your own partner, Zephon-sama."

"Yea...someday."

*Just at the moment, the door could be heard closing and Zephon's father walked into the room.*

Sochiro: *Smiles* "Zephon, its good to see your awake. I have something to tell you."
